Ok i tried it and it works but there is a big flame, but that might have been me because i doubled it and i think there were warnings to not do that. As for the guys who said it exploded and that it poisoned him is a complete lie, first of all it does not explode it flames up i did lots of tests u can light it dry and it just burns, and second potassium nitrate is used in a drug so is not really harmful unless you eat it but even then you just need to drink water

ya so i jst tryed this and well it exploded. my kitchen was on fire and the fire department came. so i would recomend that no one do this. i did everything you sed and it didnt work. there was jst a big boom. maybe you forgot to tell us something. not cool.
