Let's call it what it is, its a Vulcan Air Defense system and has been out of the US Army system since the early 90's. It never shot one airplane down in the forty years they had it, but it did a great job on gunboats and elephants in Vietnam.

Just a little FYI on gatling guns. If you watch closely you can see the guy at the end picking out live, unspent rounds from the case pile. That's because when the operator lets off the trigger there are rounds already loaded into the barrels between the loading position and the firing position. These do not get fired and instead just get dumped out as the barrel winds down.
