This is the Russian version of the MOAB. Apparently it's about four times the strength of the MOAB and has been dubbed the "Father of all bombs".

I don't know about that first explosion, but the one in the woods was a U.S. Air Force test at Eglin AFB of the next generation MOAB. They show the test at Eglin from several different angles.
